The Mill Wine List
We hope you enjoy our Wine Selection - with the help of Julian Rigotti from Berkmann Wines and Charlie Monroe from Fortitude Wine we certainly had fun putting it together!
We have listed our House Selection below - these are all personal favourites, tried and tested many times and all offer really good value.
On the following pages are listed the House Wines we offer by the glass, as well as some of the fine wines, including Champagne, Sparkling Wine and Dessert Wine. I’ve had the privilege of visiting the Serego Aligheri / Masi Vineyards in Italy and I am totally won over by the quality of their Wines. We already listed Masi’s superb Amarone but we now offer a further selection including a wonderful Red Dessert Wine - (Bin nos. 41,42,43 and 68)
We have a special fondness for the O’Leary Walker vineyard (which is near Adelaide, Australia). Our young waiter Adam spent 3 months there 2 years ago, learning everything about the production of wine and Jez (our Restaurant Manager) continued the tradition and made a brief visit last year. O’Leary Walker have won many awards including the Decanter Gold Medal and we really think you should give them a try. (Bin nos.18,19, 55 and 56)
Kind Regards - Liz Cottingham (Owner)
“I feel sorry for people who don’t drink. When they wake up in the morning, that’s as good as they’re going to feel all day.” (Frank Sinatra)
